SOtask is the public service name responsible for the platform described on this site.

1. Scope of the service

SOtask provides software intended to support service operations, task coordination, team workflows, and related operational execution. Access to the platform may be made available to organizations and authorized users under account-based access controls.

2. Permitted use

Users may use SOtask only for lawful business or organizational purposes consistent with the intended operation of the service.

  • Users must not use the platform to interfere with service integrity, security, or availability.
  • Users must not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data that does not belong to them.
  • Users must not upload unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or rights-infringing content.

3. Account responsibility

Users and organizations are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, managing access permissions appropriately, and ensuring that data entered into the platform is accurate, lawful, and authorized for processing. Organizations remain responsible for operational information submitted by their teams.

4. Operational content and data

SOtask may host or process task records, service requests, notes, assignments, and other operational content provided by users. Users retain responsibility for the content they submit and for ensuring that their use of the service complies with applicable internal policies and legal requirements.

5. Availability and maintenance

SOtask seeks to maintain a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times. The service may be temporarily limited due to maintenance, security actions, technical issues, infrastructure events, or improvements to the platform.

6. Intellectual property

The SOtask service, brand elements, website content, software interfaces, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Except where expressly permitted, users may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or create derivative commercial uses of the service or website content.

7. Suspension and termination

SOtask may suspend or limit access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, unauthorized access, security concerns, payment issues, legal requirements, or conduct that risks harm to the platform, users, or third parties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SOtask provides the service on an as-available basis and excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business interruption damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users and organizations are responsible for their own operational decisions and for maintaining appropriate internal review of information entered into the platform.
